Another week gone by

Smile! My kid has developed his camera fake-smile 🙂

This has been a whirlwind of a week. I started fresh on monday, writing and interviewing for an article. But then on tuesday kindergarten was closed, and I had the best day hanging out with my soon to be 3 year old son. I try not to write when I am with him, and just enjoy his company and allow him to inspire me. Days like those are good for the both of us. I am a proud mom, and even though that is not what this blog is about, I might occasionally mention him in a post.

Wednesday and Thursday disappeared having to endure some trivial court business, which has been a long time coming – luckily with an agreeable outcome. You could say I’ve been preoccupied. I do not have writers block at the moment, and I can honestly say this week has simply had my attention elsewhere, which is fine. It has not prevented any ideas from surfacing and I promise to write a lot more next week.

As always my projects are piling up. I am currently working on a piece about city life as I am waiting to hear back from my editor and other people who are reviewing my writing. I also have a couple of articles on order, which is great, and I am looking forward to having two of my articles published in January! My manuscript for a children’s book is done and the idea is out there, so we will just have to wait and see if anyone picks it up. Exciting stuff!

Please, stay tuned and leave your comments 🙂 They brighten my days and hopefully I can brighten yours!

– write on peeps 🙂

About linntesli

I am a Norwegian writer, author of the Reborn series, and a social worker. I love to write, and it has been a passion of mine ever since I knew how to put pen to paper. I hope my love of magic and make-believe will touch the spirit of others out there, who share my passion for fantasy, or just the need to read :)
